Music is more than just a combination of sounds.
It’s a language, an expression. It’s a way to bring people closer together.
Christiana has been singing ever since she could remember, walking around as a toddler with her Fisher Price cassette tape recorder and little microphone. Growing up she was always involved in music, whether it was chorus classes from elementary to high school, the spring musical every year, or even just teaching herself how to play a variety of instruments at home.
As a freshman in college, she was accepted into her university’s award-winning co-ed a cappella group, the UMBC Cleftomaniacs, with whom she helped release their debut album, First Kiss.
Her love for music continues to grow. Though she misses singing with a group there’s much to learn and experience on her own.
